Tifereth Israel is excited to partner with Agudas Achim and Temple Israel to offer Make Midrash, a dynamic and creative program for high school students in grades 8–12.

Make Midrash brings Jewish learning to life through art and hands-on exploration. By blending traditional texts with creative expression, students discover meaningful connections to Jewish values, culture, and their own lived experiences. Workshops have included parsha and paint, making sufganiyot, exploring self-care through sensory dough, creating stop-motion videos, and more.

As teens grow into their own identities and begin shaping who they are as adults, Jewish learning plays an essential role. Make Midrash is here to nurture curiosity, spark creativity, and support students as they explore Jewish texts and what those teachings mean to them—now and into the future.
